DONOR FEMALE FOR THE PUCARA ET PROGRAM
Pucara produced Kalea by using a male, 6P Chachapoya (Accoyo), with her prepotent dam Kahuna's Coco Ho. Coco Ho being a champion in the show ring and the dam of 2016 Futurity Judges Choice female, Wyuna's Abigail. Also the dam of Madiba's Leilani a first ribbon winner at the Futurity but right up there with the best females we have ever produced. The purpose was to breed Chachapoya with our Kahuna line females to add hybrid vigor via outcross to this already prepotent line.. thus Chachapoyas WCF Kalea represents the unique combination of genetics that we have pursued to enhance our Suri breeding program, that is, the combination of Pucara Kahuna and 6Peruvian Chachapoya. Both Accoyo.
Testament to that idea is that Emma Lou, Kalea's 2013 daughter sired by Pucara PureSuri Madiba has become a donor female for us in the ET program. She has inherited the frame and the abundance of luster of Madiba, a descendent of famous Latah Creek genetics. Madibas sire, LCA Viho was recognized by Alonso Burgos of Grupo Inca, Peru, as the densest Suri he'd ever seen, and he's seen thousands of Suri males! Madibas dam is the famous Silkworm, in our estimation one of the top five Suri stud females in the history of the US Suri industry. Kalea did it again with another Madiba cria, WCF Madiba's Charlie who was an IAO champion.
Kalea's prepotent fleece orientated Suri genetics are expressed in her amalgamation of excellent traits. She is fine, with great luster and lock independence on a well built, correct frame with a true to type Suri head.
Discerning breeders would welcome Kalea genetics to their breeding program. She is the result of a well thought out but rare combination of genetics that has produced outstanding cria. Pictures of the 2013 daughter Emma Lou tell the story!
We would suggest a breeding to one of our Madiba line stud males to emphasize all that luster that he brings.
